1966 Fastback – 300cs

This 1966 Fastback is undergoing our full nut and bolt rotisserie restoration and has already delivered to Australia in 2013. It has finished in Raven Black paint. The new black interior has complemented with a tribute Shelby 6 pod dash gauges mounted with metric auto meter and Mota-Lita Timber steering wheel. With a fully rebuilt and balanced high performance engine, you will relive the excitement this model created when launched as you grip the Mota-Lita steering wheel and fire up the engine.

Engine
BLUE PRINT 302/347 STROKER engine fully rebuilt and designed to run on unleaded petrol. New pistons, hydraulic ROLLER camshaft and double row timing chain. A fully rotating balance has also been completed. The cylinder heads are CNC Aluminium units, with oversized inlet and exhaust valves. It has a four barrel manifold matched up to a 600 CFM Holley carburettor and a MSD Electronic CDI ignition unit. Full Length stainless headers are connected to a new 2 1/4" performance exhaust system.
Transmission
New Tremec TKO600 with a Custom made BILLET STAINLESS Shifter and a McLeod clutch.
Rear End
A fully rebuilt Ford 9 inch limited slip differential with 3.89 : 1 RATIO
Brakes
Wilwood 4 wheel disc .
Suspension
New front coils and new rear leaf springs. New Koni shockers all round along with a 1 1/8 inch front sway bar and an adjustable 3/4 inch rear sway bar for improved handling. Lowered 1" consistent with Shelby tuning. New front coils and new rear leaf springs. New Koni shockers all round Lowered 1" consistent with Shelby tuning.
Wheel and Tyres
Period correct 16 x 7 Torque D wheels fitted with white lettered BF Goodrich 225 x 60 x 15 radial tyres.
