1966 GT350 Tribute – 221cs

The 1966 Fastbacks are becoming increasingly hard to find. This example has undergone our full nut and bolt restoration process and is finished in correct Sapphire Blue (Dupont) with White LeMans Stripes. This stunning combination is complemented by an all new Black interior featuring a Dash mount Shelby tribute Tachometer and Mota-Lita steering wheel. This particular Mustang has also been fitted with 4 wheel disc brakes and a leather interior to make it a particularly desirable example.

Engine
Original 289 Windsor small block V8 engine fully rebuilt and designed to run on unleaded petrol. New pistons, hydraulic camshaft and double row timing chain. A fully rotating balance has also been completed. The cylinder heads are CNC Aluminum units, with oversized inlet and exhaust valves. It has a four barrel manifold matched up to a Edelbrock carburetor and a MSD CDI ignition unit. Tri Y headers are connected to a new 2 1/4" performance exhaust system.
Transmission
A brand new T5 Tremek 5 Speed Box with a short throw shifter and a 10.5" Zoom Performance clutch.
Rear End
Fully rebuilt 9" with 3.0 ratio LSD.
Brakes
11.70 slotted rotors dual piston caliper with braided hoses in front and 11 inch rotor, single piston caliper with BANKSIA style park brake in the rear by RRS.
Suspension
All components have been replaced with the best quality new parts
Wheel and Tyres
Period correct magnum 500 15x7 front and 15x8 rear fitted with white lettered BF Goodrich 225 x 60 x 15 radial tyres.
